I've been using Properteasy for a few months now and can already see the time-saving benefits—I'm loving it!

Properteasy is extremely user-friendly. It makes it easy to track due, upcoming, and expiring tasks, and features like auto pre-fill and tick boxes make generating work orders a breeze.

Before using Properteasy, what were the biggest challenges you faced in managing property compliance for your team?

Individuals were using spreadsheets to keep on top of their safety checks. This didn’t give management full transparency over the portfolio and made it harder when staff were on leave to understand what was outstanding at each property.

Easy access on one portal, clear and concise information that can be accessed anytime.

It's probably more of the mental side. With them having an easy view of where each property is along with colored reminders, you can't get it wrong, which gives them more confidence in what they are doing.

Absolutely. Safety checks and minimum standards are far too important these days. No business wants to run the risk of any of their property being missed. This program helps stop that possibility.

What were the biggest challenges you faced in managing property compliance before using Properteasy, and how has our software helped you overcome them?

Before we came onboard with Properteasy we found our existing software to be clunky when it came to managing compliance. Nothing was that easy to find and each PM added their own way of saving reports etc, so was hard to navigate when covering other positions if a team member was away and you needed to find something.

What are your favorite features or tools within Properteasy, and how have they improved your daily workflow or efficiency?

The newly added "Further works" icon and also the home screen. I can easily see how many properties have upcoming or expired compliance checks.

Would you recommend Properteasy to other property managers, and if so, what would be your main reason for recommending it?

Yes, absolutely would recommend to fellow PMs! Properteasy eliminates the double handling between the portal and CRM, and saves us so much time daily!

The introduction of safety and compliance checks, along with minimum standards, was a welcome legislative step toward improving property safety, however, it added a daunting layer to an already demanding role of a Property Manager. While the concept was fantastic in theory, in practice it placed significant strain on Property Managers, whose workloads were already at capacity.

Many compliance companies and agencies tried to ease the burden, but there was a clear gap in the market. Property management software had been developed to streamline everything, from maintenance and inspections, to accounting and rent reviews, yet compliance remained an afterthought. Even the most widely used real estate platforms offered minimal, if any, compliance reporting.

For me, compliance unintentionally slipped through the cracks. Despite my best efforts, the lack of visibility and accountability made it difficult to stay on top of. Properteasy changed that.

This software has given me full visibility and control over compliance across my portfolio. I can now clearly see what checks have been completed, what’s upcoming, what’s overdue, and what follow-up actions may be required.

It’s reassuring to have a single platform that consolidates all of this, ensuring I meet my obligations as an agent, my Rental Providers fulfill theirs, and, most importantly, that our properties and Renters are safe.

Before using Properteasy, we faced challenges in keeping track of compliance as we were using various platforms to manage it. Which lead to it being easily overlooked.  Properteasy has streamlined our compliance process by providing a centralised system.

We have liked being able to look at one page and have an overview of our whole portfolio compliance as well as where each property is at. I’ve personally loved the label section.

Before using Properteasy, one of the biggest challenges was maintaining clear and accurate records of compliance dates and tracking when properties were due for checks.

It was also difficult to keep a complete history of compliance activities linked to each property.

We relied heavily on spreadsheets to monitor when work was scheduled or completed, which was time-consuming and prone to errors.

One of my favorite features is the automation.

It has grouped all of my compliance from all the services we use to complete them into one place. Its great to follow up on what is over due or about to expire and a great way to filter and focus on those properties.

What is your favorite feature of our software and why?

I can attach everything and anything I need really quickly and easily. Searching up properties and reports is really quick.

Can you share any specific examples of how our software has helped you address compliance issues or streamline your workflow?

I really do like being able to group issues, or tasks together so I can focus on one area at a time rather than bouncing back and forth between things. I can focus on switchboard tasks, or mould issues.

Or focus on properties that are not compliant. It means I can get into a head space of one topic instead of switching gears back and forth.
